Why I Create My Art Using Graphite Pencils?
This is a question that I get asked frequently. The answer may surprise as it’s not related to any deep held convictions of how I believe art should be made. It is simple. I am color blind. I am most comfortable in the shades of gray so its with pencils and Black and White photography that I create my art. I hope you enjoy my work and return often.

I recently completed this pencil drawing of a chuckwagon scene. I loved all the different textures and shapes in this scene. It took 30 hours to complete. Drawing with Graphite pencils using Bristol 200kg paper. 12”x18”
